OH REALLY?
Slate chief political correspondent William Saletan turns on his brethren:
We're really, really lazy. First of all, we're cowards because we are afraid of being not objective. We're also just lazy. There may be two reporters in the country who understand tax policy. The rest of us are talking to our friends and reading each other in the paper.But at least they can talk to us about polls! Uh, maybe not:

Stats and journalism don't go together...anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid. next time you want to publish something on the web that has not been approved by the speaker, you should really think about your lawyer...feel lucky that i do not want to pursue this
